FREESTYLE PROGRAMS

Freestyle and terrain park are a fundamental part of on-snow expression at Echo Mountain. The terrain park offers a variety of features for all ability levels. Echo Ski & Ride instructors teach progressions to advance your skills on various terrain features in a safe and fun learning environment.

Freestyle Camps
Throughout the season Echo offers Freestyle Snowboard Camps taught by guest pros and qualified Echo Ride School instructors.

Mad Steeze Mondays
Echo Mountain is excited to introduce Mad Steeze Mondays!  For 4 Monday nights (1/23, 1/30, 2/6, 2/13) we will be offering a freestyle camp for skiers and snowboarders ages 12 and up, of all levels and styles.  Our beginner/intermediate session will focus on introducing new and beginner park riders to all that the park has to offer.  Campers will explore basic jibs and jumps while also practicing park etiquette and safety.  For intermediate/advanced riders who want to take the next steps in their freestyle, the camp will focus on specific new tricks and styles.  The camp will be open to riders at a level 4 or 5 ability (see Echo’s ski and ride school online).  Previous park experience is not required to attend; however, linking turns (snowboard) and parallel turns (skiing) is a must.

Price for the 4 week camp $175 (lift ticket not-included, but may be purchased for the camp at a discount of $20/night)

To guarantee space in Mad Steeze Mondays, advanced registration and pre-payment is required. Limited space is available. REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE UP TO ONE WEEK PRIOR TO THE START OF THE PROGRAM SESSION and may close earlier if spaces fill up. Please book early to guarantee your spot.

** The Mad Steeze Mondays PROGRAM is NON-REFUNDABLE and there are NO MAKE-UP LESSONS for missed days**.

Private lessons offer custom one-on-one instruction catered to your skills and goals. Simply request that you are interested in Private “Freestyle” Lesson when you make your reservation.

Group Freestyle Lessons
In order for students to fully enjoy Echo’s terrain, all group lessons include terrain park safety and level appropriate freestyle skills. However, freestyle skills are not the only focus of the lesson. If you are interested in a group lesson where the primary focus is freestyle and terrain park skills, please request a Group “Freestyle” Lesson when you make your reservation. There is no guarantee that Echo will offer a Group Freestyle Lesson on any given day, however, we will try to accommodate your request based on availability of a Freestyle Instructor.
