KIDS LESSONS
 

All Echo Ski & Ride School students are separated by discipline (ski or snowboard), age and ability level to promote learning, safety and fun. Lessons are taught by trained instructors that have all passed a criminal background check.

Kids lessons are offered daily (except Tuesday*). Kids lessons are two hours long and are offered at 10:15am, 1:15pm, 3:30pm and 4:30pm (3:30pm and 4:30pm are not offered on Sundays).

*On select Tuesdays when Echo Mountain is open, Ski & Ride School offers lessons at 10:15am and 1:15pm.


KIDS SKI LESSONS
Parent & Me Private Ski Lessons – age 3 & a parent
A one hour lesson to teach your 3 year-old and prepare him/her for group instruction by age 4.       

    2011-2012 Season Prices

• $65 first parent & child (includes a daily learning center lift ticket)
• $29 per additional parent or child (includes a daily learning center lift ticket)
• Add $20 for ski or snowboard rentals per person (includes a helmet)
  

Discovery Ski Lessons – ages 4-6
In order to turn little skiers into life long skiers, Echo instructors create FUN lessons catered to your 4-6 year-old's interests, physical development, and attention span.

Exploreers Ski Lessons – ages 7-12
Older kids have the physical development and learning capacity to learn new skills quickly. Our instructors teach the proper techniques that will help take 7-12 year-old skiers to the next level and keep him/her safe as they begin exploring more of the mountain.

*Holiday Pricing is in effect: Dec. 26 - Jan. 2, Jan. 14 – 16, and Feb. 18-20 


KIDS SNOWBOARD LESSONS
Lil’ Rippers Snowboard Experience – ages 5-7*
This program is designed to provide those little guys and gals, who “really want to snowboard,” with a positive experience on snow. Class size is limited to 3 students so the instructor can provide each student the attention and “hands on” time needed to get them balancing and moving on his/her board. 

*7 year-old snowboarders may opt to take the Lil’ Rippers Lesson if there is space available otherwise they will be placed in a Rippers Lesson

Rippers Snowboard Lessons – ages 7-12
Older kids have the physical development and learning capacity to learn new skills quickly. Our instructors teach the proper techniques that will help take 7-12 year-old snowboarders to the next level and keep them safe as they begin exploring more of the mountain.

RESERVATIONS
In order to guarantee space in a lesson, an advanced reservation and pre-payment is required. We do not accept day-of reservations; walk-ins will be accommodated if space is available. However, classes do fill, especially on weekends and during holidays. Please book early to guarantee your spot.

Call the Ski & Ride School Desk at 303-325-7347, ext. 2 to make a reservation and pre-pay. Echo Mountain and our Ski & Ride School will open November 30th. The Ski & Ride School will start taking reservations November 21st

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
A non-refundable payment is taken at the time of reservation. Lessons may be rescheduled a minimum of 24 hours before the reserved start time. NO REFUNDS will be issued and lessons cannot be rescheduled within 24 hours of the reserved start time.

CHECK-IN
Please plan to arrive at least one hour early to check-in for your lesson, especially if you're renting equipment. Lesson check-in may close up to 45 minutes prior to the designated lesson start time. All lessons begin promptly at the designated start time; late arrivals will be moved to a later class time if space is available. Give yourself plenty of time to create the best possible experience by planning accordingly and taking weather into consideration.
Prior to your first lesson of the season, downloading and completing the following check-in paperwork prior to your arrival will help speed up the check-in process.
